"Dreamweaver CS3 Bible"

Don??™t be misled into thinking that by changing your Proportional Font preference to Arial or
another font, you cause all your Web pages to appear automatically in that typeface. Changing
these font preferences affects only the default fonts that you see when developing the Web page; the default
font that the user sees is controlled by the user??™s browser. To ensure that a different font is used, you have to
specify it for any selected text through the Text Properties inspector.
Code Hints preferences
With Code Hints, your work in Code view is much more productive. You can now start typing a tag in
Code view, and Dreamweaver shows you a list of available codes. Start typing highlighted. Type is highlighted. After the tag you want is highlighted, just
press Enter (Return) to insert the proper tag. But wait, there??™s more. The Code Hints also include all the
available attributes for each tag, and when you add the closing > symbol, the matching closing tag can be
automatically inserted for you. The Code Hints preferences shown in Figure 4-16 determine how Code
Hints work for you.
Close Tags option
Dreamweaver gives you two ways to handle code completion. The first option, After Typing ???inserting the closing tag after you enter the first two characters.
