3. Enter an appropriate title for your RDS connection in the Name field of the Configure Server dialog
box.
4. Select RDS from the Access Type list.
5. Click Settings to open the Configure RDS Server dialog box, shown in Figure 5-12.

6. In the Configure RDS Server dialog, enter the URL or IP address for the server in the Host
Name field.
7. Enter the appropriate Port number; the default Port value is 80.
8. In the Full Host Directory field, enter the path to the site folder on the remote system, for example,
c:\inetpub\wwwroot\bigco\.
9. If you??™re working with a secure HTTP connection, select the Use HTTPS option.
10. If necessary, enter the user name and password in the appropriate fields. The Username and
Password field options may not appear, depending on the settings of the ColdFusion
Administrator.
11. Select Save to retain your settings. If you do not select Save, you must re-enter the settings information
every time you connect to the server.
12. Click OK to close the Configure RDS Server dialog.
13. Enter the Internet address to the server root in the URL Prefix field.
14. Click OK to close the dialog and create the server connection.
