All of the layouts listed when the Blank Page ??? HTML (or any of
the dynamic page types) is chosen are expertly crafted with carefully commented code. Not only do these
new CSS layouts provide an excellent jumping off point for designs, they also serve as a terrific learning
resource.
To create a new document using the New Document dialog box, follow these steps:
1. Choose File ??? New to open the New Document dialog box, as shown in Figure 5-15.

2. In the New Document dialog, select the category of new document that you want to create: Blank
Page, Blank Template, Page from Template, Page from Sample, or Other.
The adjoining columns and page preview change according to the New Document category
selected. The following steps assume that the Blank Page category has been selected.
3. In the Page Type list, select the specific type of document you want to create: HTML, HTML
Template, Library item, and so on. The page types are grouped into static page types, which do
not require an additional application server, and dynamic page types, which do.
4. From the Layout column, choose the basic page design. Select
for a blank HTML page.
Select any layout to view the illustrated preview and read a brief description of the design.
