"Dreamweaver CS3 Bible"

n Hold down the Shift key and then press the up or down arrow key to select a line at a time.
Pressing Ctrl+Shift (Command+Shift) as you press the up or down arrow key selects a paragraph
at a time.
Dreamweaver provides quick access to the most common editing commands, such as Cut, Copy, and Paste,
through the Standard toolbar. To enable the toolbar, choose View ??? Toolbars ??? Standard.
When you want to move a block of text, first select it and then use Edit ??? Cut, the Cut button on the
Standard toolbar, or the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+X (Command+X). This sequence places the text on your
system??™s clipboard. To paste the text, move the pointer to the new location, click once to place the cursor,
and then select Edit ??? Paste or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V (Command+V). The text is copied from
the clipboard to its new location. You can continue pasting this same text from the clipboard until another
block of text is copied or cut.
To copy text, the procedure is much the same. Select the text using one of the preceding methods and then
use Edit ??? Copy, the Copy button on the Standard toolbar, or Ctrl+C (Command+C). The selected text is
copied to the clipboard, and the original text is left in place. You then position the cursor in a new location
and select Edit ??? Paste (or use the keyboard shortcut).
