Choose Edit ??? Find and Replace or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F (Command+F).
2. In the Find and Replace dialog box, make sure that Text is the selected Search option and then, in
the text field next to the Search option, type the word or phrase you??™re looking for. You can also
copy and paste text from the Document window into the Search field.
3. In the Replace With text field, type the substitute text.
Need more room for your Find or Replace entries? The Find and Replace dialog box can be
widened by dragging the border as you would a window; Macintosh users should drag the
lower-right corner as usual.
4. Click the Find Next button. Dreamweaver begins searching from the current cursor position. If
Dreamweaver finds the text, it is highlighted.
5. To replace the highlighted occurrence of the text, click the Replace button. Dreamweaver replaces
the found text with the substitute text and then automatically searches for the next occurrence.
6. If you want to replace all instances of the Search text, click the Replace All button. When
Dreamweaver has found all the occurrences of your Search text, it displays a message telling how
many replacement operations were made.
The Search panel applies to Find operations, but not to Replace operations.
