In this case, you use absolute sizes. Also, Dreamweaver itself does not recognize
the
tag; so to accurately see a page that uses relative sizes and the
tag,
view it in a browser.
Relative font sizes can also be selected from either the Property inspector or the menus. To use the Property
inspector to pick a relative font size, follow these steps:
1. Select your text or position the cursor where you want the new text size to begin.
2. In the Property inspector, open the Size drop-down list of options. If the Size drop-down list is
not visible on the Text Property inspector, click the Toggle CSS/HTML Mode icon, located to the
right of the Format drop-down list.
3. To increase the size of your text, choose a value from +1 through +7. To decrease the size of your
text, choose a value from ??“1 to ??“7.
To pick a relative font size from the menus, follow these steps:
1. Select your text or position the cursor where you want the new text size to begin.
2. To increase the size of your text, choose Text ??? Size Change and pick a value from +1 to +4. To
decrease the size of your text, choose Text ??? Size Change and pick a value from ??“1 to ??“3. Note
that the full range of relative sizes (+1 to +7 and ??“1 to ??“7) is not available through the Size
Change menu because Dreamweaver assumes the base font value is 3.
