If you chose to type a color name or number directly into the Text Color text field, press Tab or
click in the Document window to see the color applied.
4. If you clicked the color box, select your color from the palette of colors available. As you move
your pointer over the color swatches, Dreamweaver displays the color and the color??™s hexadecimal
number above.
5. For a wider color selection, open the Color dialog box by selecting the System Color Picker icon
in the upper-right corner of the color picker.
To access the full-spectrum color picker in Windows, follow these steps:
1. Select your text or position your cursor where you want the new text color to begin.
2. Choose Text ??? Color to open the Color dialog box, shown in Figure 8-17.

3. Select one of the 48 preset standard colors from the color swatches on the left of the Color dialog
box, or use either of the following methods:
n Select a color by moving the Hue/Saturation pointer and the Luminance pointer.
n Enter decimal values directly into either the Red, Green, and Blue boxes or the Hue,
Saturation, and Luminance boxes.
