The dialog box informs them
that they are about to send an email message over the Internet. The user has the option not to see these warnings,
but there??™s no way for the Web designer to prevent them from appearing when an email link is used.
However, another method of collecting data from users??”HTML forms??”doesn??™t require the users to have
email software installed on their computer, and it allows users to send information to the server without
receiving the warning message. Chapter 14 explains how to create HTML forms.
Named anchors are case-sensitive and must be unique within the page.
When you click OK, Dreamweaver places a named anchor symbol in the current cursor location
and opens the Named Anchor Property inspector (shown in Figure 10-6).
In Design view, named anchors are represented by a small yellow icon with??”surprise!??”an
anchor image on it in the page. If you can??™t see the named anchor symbol, choose View?? Visual
Aids ?? Invisible Elements; if the symbol is still not visible, update your Preference settings for the Invisible
Elements category.
