Unlike the individual eyes in front of each AP element name, the overall eye
toggles between open and shut.
You can also change an AP element??™s name (in the second column of the AP Elements panel). Just doubleclick
the current AP element name in the inspector; the name is highlighted. Type in the new name and
press Enter (Return) to complete the change.
You can alter the z-index (stacking order) in the third column in the same manner. Double-click the z-index
value; and then type in the new value and press Enter (Return). You can enter any positive or negative integer.
If you??™re working with the Netscape proprietary tags, you can also alter the above or below
values previously set for the z-index through the Property inspector. Use A for above and B for below.

To change an AP element??™s z-index interactively, you can drag one AP element above or below
another in the AP Elements panel. This action causes all the other AP elements??™ z-index values
to change accordingly.
Nesting with the AP Elements panel
Another task managed by the AP Elements panel is nesting or unnesting AP elements. This process is also
referred to as creating parent-child AP elements. To nest one AP element inside another through the AP
Elements panel, follow these steps:
