Choose Window ??? AP Elements or press F2 to open the AP Elements panel.
2. Press the Ctrl (Command) key, click the name of the AP element to be nested (the child), and
drag it on top of the other AP element (the parent).
3. When you see a rectangle around the parent AP element??™s name, release the mouse. The child AP
element is indented underneath the parent AP element, and the parent AP element has a minus
sign (a downward-pointing triangle on the Mac) attached to the front of its name.
4. To hide the child AP element from view, click the minus sign (a downward-pointing triangle on
the Mac) in front of the parent AP element??™s name. After the child AP element is hidden, the
minus sign turns into a plus sign (a right-pointing triangle on the Mac).
5. To reveal the child AP element, click the plus sign (a right-pointing triangle on the Mac).
6. To undo a nested AP element, select the child AP element and drag it to a new position in the AP
Elements panel.
You can use the nesting features of the AP Elements panel to hide many AP elements quickly. If the visibility
of all child AP elements is set to the default??”with no eye displayed??”then by hiding the parent AP element,
you cause all the child AP elements to inherit that visibility setting and also disappear from view.
