the selection process, making it easy to change both the properties and the contents of entire tables,
selected rows or columns, and even non-adjacent cells. You can change the vertical alignment of a row, for
example, with a click or two of the mouse??”instead of highlighting and modifying each individual cell.
All the following discussions about table selections pertain only to Standard mode; they are
not applicable in Layout mode.
In Dreamweaver, you can select the following elements of a table:
n The entire table
n A single row
n Multiple rows, either adjacent or separate
n A single column
n Multiple columns, either adjacent or separate
n A single cell
n Multiple cells, either adjacent or separate
After you select a table element, you can modify its properties.
Selecting in Expanded Tables mode
It??™s fairly easy to select table elements when the table is fully expanded??”but tables aren??™t always set to a
100% width. In fact, designers often remove all table width values for their layouts, thus collapsing the
