n You can??™t replace the entire contents of one cell with another and maintain all the text attributes
(font, color, and size) of the destination cell in Design view. If you select all the text to be
replaced, Dreamweaver also selects the CSS styles or
tag that holds the attributes and
replaces those as well; instead of applying the CSS style to the tag, however, it wraps the text in a similarly styled tag. The workaround for HTML-formatted text is to select and copy the source text as usual, and then select all but one letter or word in the destination cell, paste the contents, and delete the extra text. With CSS, cut and paste the entire text and then right-click (Control+click) the tag in the Tag Selector and choose Remove Tag.
