Adding Advanced Design Features Part III
You can add multiple rows and columns in either of the following ways:
n Increase the number of rows indicated in the Rows text box of the Table Property inspector. All
new rows added in this manner appear below the last table row. Similarly, you can increase the
number of columns indicated in the Cols text box of the Table Property inspector. Columns
added in this way appear to the right of the last column.
n Use the Insert Rows or Columns dialog box.
The Insert Rows or Columns feature enables you to include any number of rows or columns anywhere relative
to your current cursor position.
To add multiple columns using the Insert Rows or Columns dialog box, follow these steps:
1. Position the cursor anywhere in the row or column next to where the new row or column will be
inserted.
2. Open the Insert Rows or Columns dialog box (shown in Figure 13-9) by choosing Modify ???
Table ??? Insert Rows or Columns or by choosing Table ??? Insert Rows or Columns from the
context menu.
