Improving Accessibility
You can do several things to make your HTML forms more accessible to people with visual impairments,
who may be using a nonvisual browser or a screen reader. Many of these options are also useful for users
accessing the page visually.
Dreamweaver makes it easy for Web page authors to improve the accessibility of their Web forms by setting
an option in the Accessibility category of the Preferences dialog box.
To turn on the accessibility controls for forms, choose Edit ??? Preferences (Dreamweaver ??? Preferences)
and then, in the Accessibility category, select the Form Objects checkbox. With this option enabled, every
time you insert a form object, the Input Tag Accessibility Attributes dialog box, shown in Figure 14-13, is
displayed. A friendly reminder that this dialog box is controlled by Preferences is included in the dialog.
