Adding Advanced Design Features Part III
Frames menu found in the Layout category of the Insert bar shown in Figure 16-4. Choose one of the basic
designs, and you??™re ready to tweak the frame sizes and begin filling in the content. This method gives you a
great combination: ease of use with design flexibility.
FIGURE 16-4
The Frames menu of the Insert bar holds the most commonly used frameset configurations.
The frame objects are roughly organized from simplest framesets to most complex. On the Insert bar, notice
that each of the icons shows a sample frameset with one blue section. The placement of the color is significant.
The blue indicates in which frame the current page will appear when the frameset is constructed. For
example, if you begin to construct your main content page, and then decide to turn it into a frameset with
separate navigation strip frames to the left and above it, you choose the Top and Nested Left Frame button.
Figure 16-5 provides a before-and-after example, first with the preframe content and then with the same
content after a Top and Left Bottom Frame object has been applied.
The framesets available from the Frames menu of the Insert bar are as follows:
n Left: Inserts a blank frame to the left of the current page.
