"Dreamweaver CS3 Bible"

You must be
careful to save not only all the individual frames that make up your Web page, but also the frameset itself.
Dreamweaver makes it easy to save framesets and included frames by providing several special commands.
To save a frameset, select the frameset as previously described and choose File ??? Save Frameset to open the
standard Save File dialog box. You can also save a copy of the current frameset by choosing File ??? Save
Frameset As and then specifying a filename and location for the new copy.
You can save a single frame by clicking in the frame and then choosing File ??? Save Frame. You can also
make a copy of a document within a frame by choosing File ??? Save Frame As and then entering a filename
and location.
Although you can save each frame separately in the frameset, it can be a chore unless you choose File ???
Save All. The first time this command is invoked, Dreamweaver cycles through each of the open frames and
displays the Save File dialog box. Each subsequent time you choose File ??? Save All, Dreamweaver automatically
saves every updated file in the frameset.
As you are saving all the files in the frameset for the first time, you see a separate Save As dialog
box for each previously unsaved file. You can tell which file you are currently saving by
looking in Design view??”a dotted, black line borders the frame currently being saved.
