"Dreamweaver CS3 Bible"

When you first create a frameset using the Frames menu on the Insert bar, or by selecting an item in the
Framesets category when you choose File ??? New, the frame designated as containing the body of the page
is resizable, and all other frames are fixed. Frames added by Alt+dragging (Option+dragging) the frame borders
with the mouse or by choosing the Modify ??? Frameset menu commands are resizable by default.

Setting margins
Just as you can pad table cells with additional space to separate text and graphics, you can offset content in
frames. Dreamweaver enables you to control the left/right margins and the top/bottom margins independently.
If no margin values are specified, about 6 pixels of space are between the content and the left or right
frame borders, and about 15 pixels of space are between the content and the top or bottom frame borders.
To alter the left and right margins, change the value in the Frame Property inspector??™s Margin Width text
box; to change the top and bottom margins, enter a new value in the Margin Height text box. (If you don??™t
see the Margin Width and Margin Height text boxes, select the expander arrow in the lower-right corner of
the Property inspector.)
Modifying content
You can update a frame??™s content in any way you see fit.
