If you??™re working with multiple checkboxes, once you??™ve inserted the Spry Validation Checkbox widget, all
the other checkboxes entered should be standard ones, as shown in Figure 18-21. Also, you??™ll want to make
sure that all inserted checkboxes are within the tag.
FIGURE 18-21
To validate multiple checkboxes, use standard Dreamweaver checkboxes after the inserted Spry Validation

Powering Ajax Pages with Spry 18
ASpry detail region updates whenever an element of the associated master region is selected. This
Dreamweaver Technique extends the previous technique in this chapter to create a master-detail connection.
1. From the Techniques site, expand the 18_Spry folder and open the spry_data_start file, if
necessary.
The first task is to identify the containing
tag as a Spry detail region.
2. Select the placeholder image in the right-hand column.
3. From the Tag Selector, choose
and press Ctrl+T (Cmd+T) to open the Quick Tag Editor.
4. Press the right-arrow key to move past the last attribute and press Space. Enter the following code:
spry:detailregion=???ds1??? and press Enter (Return) when you??™re done. Notice the tag in the
Tag Selector turns a reddish-orange to indicate a Spry attribute.
