"Dreamweaver CS3 Bible"

With the styles off,
you??™ll see just the unordered list and can make any edits necessary very simply.
To adjust a main menu or sub-menu item, follow these steps:
1. To add a new main menu item, choose Add (+) above the first column in the Property inspector.
New menu items are added with the label Untitled Item; modify the label in the Text field.
2. To add a sub-menu item, select the parent menu item and choose Add (+) above the second or
third column.
3. To remove a menu item, select it in the Property inspector and choose Remove (??“). If the menu
item has any associated sub-menus, Dreamweaver asks for a confirmation before deleting; click
OK to remove the menu item and its children.
4. To change the order of a menu item, select it and choose the up or down arrow in the current
column.
As with the form widgets, the first time you save a file with a Spry Menu Bar widget,
Dreamweaver lets you know which supporting files have been copied to your site and will
need to be posted online. There are different support files for the horizontal and vertical menus bars.
Vertical menus (see Figure 18-23) are just as easy to create and modify. Once they are inserted, you can easily
change the labels and links, either through the Spry Menu Bar widget Property inspector or, once the
menu item is visible, directly in Design view.
