Unlike with the Spry Tabbed Panel, there??™s no way to change the default panel in the Property
inspector. The top panel is always open by default.
To add a Spry Accordion Panel widget to your page, follow these steps:
1. Place your cursor where you??™d like your menu bar to appear.
2. From the Spry or Layout categories of the Insert bar, choose Spry Accordion Panel Bar.
The default accordion panel, with two tabs, is inserted into the page and the custom Property
inspector (see Figure 18-26) displays.

3. To increase the number of panels, from the Property inspector choose Add (+).
The new tab is inserted below the currently selected entry.
4. To remove a previously inserted panel, choose Remove (-).
5. To change the order of the panel, select any tab and use the Up and Down buttons to adjust the
panel position.
Panels nearer to the top in the Property inspector are, in Design view, positioned to the left of the
panels beneath them.
