Exploring Fireworks Source and Export Files
The separate source file is an important concept in Fireworks, and I strongly advise you to use it. Generally,
when working in Fireworks, you have a minimum of two files for every image output to the Web: your source
file and your exported Web image. Whenever you make major alterations, it??™s best to make them to the source
file and then update the export files. Not only is it easier to work this way, but you also get a better image.
