Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, and Bridge Integration 24
Both the Library and Clipboard methods are one-step, self-explanatory techniques??”and using the Insert
Fireworks HTML object is only a bit more complex. To insert the Fireworks code and images into your
Dreamweaver page using the Insert Fireworks HTML object, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that you??™ve exported your graphics and HTML from Fireworks with the Dreamweaver
HTML style selected.
2. Select the Fireworks HTML object from the Images menu of the Insert bar??™s Common category or
choose Insert ??? Image Objects ??? Fireworks HTML. The Insert Fireworks HTML dialog box,
shown in Figure 24-12 appears.
FIGURE 24-12
Import Fireworks code directly into Dreamweaver with the Insert Fireworks HTML object.
3. If you want to delete the Fireworks-generated HTML file after the code is inserted, select the
Delete File After Insertion option. This can help keep your site folder tidy.
4. Enter the path to the Fireworks HTML file or click the Browse button to locate the file.
5. When you??™re finished, click OK. Dreamweaver inserts the Fireworks HTML and graphics at the
current cursor location.
If you??™re a hands-on Web designer, you can also use the Code inspector to copy and paste the
JavaScript and HTML code.
