From Bridge, you can also choose the File ??? Place ??? In Dreamweaver, and the selected asset will be
inserted in the current cursor location in Dreamweaver. If the asset is stored outside of the current site root,
you are asked to copy it to site. Once saved locally, the image is incorporated into the page.

Working in Bridge??™s compact mode allows you to browse your assets and drag them directly into Dreamweaver.
To bring a file shown in Bridge into Dreamweaver, follow these steps:
1. Choose File ??? Browse in Bridge or, from the Standard toolbar, click Browse in Bridge.
2. When Bridge opens, locate the desired asset.
3. Drag the asset from Bridge to Dreamweaver or, alternatively, choose File ??? Place ??? In
Dreamweaver.
4. If the asset is located outside of the current site root, a dialog appears to ask if you??™d like to copy
the file to the site; click Yes and choose a location for the file in the Copy File As dialog box.
5. The asset is placed in the Dreamweaver document.
Because of the ease in which graphic thumbnails are presented, Bridge is most likely to be used in conjunction
with graphic assets, but you can access other types of files as well. PDF files, HTML pages, Flash
movies, Microsoft Office documents, MP3 files, and more are all displayed in Bridge.
