Inserting Flash and Shockwave Elements 25
After your Flash button is inserted, it can be modified on the page. Select the Flash Button object to activate
the Flash Button Property inspector that, along with the standard Flash Property inspector, offers two new
useful custom controls: Edit and Reset Size. Click Edit to reopen the Insert Flash Button dialog box and
enable you to modify any of the settings. Click Reset Size if you have altered the dimensions of the Flash
button??”by dragging one of the sizing handles or entering new values in the Width and/or Height fields??”
and want to return to the original size.
If you move an existing Flash button to a frame-based design, click the button and then click
Edit in the Property inspector. To make it easy to target your content chosen by the Flash button
link, you can find names for all the frames in your new frameset under Target.
Working with Flash Text
The addition of Flash text to Dreamweaver goes a long way toward solving one of the Web designer??™s most
perplexing problems: how to achieve good-looking text that uses nonstandard fonts. HTML enables you to
specify the use of a nonstandard font in a Web page, but the font appears in a user??™s browser only if the user
happens to have that particular font installed on his or her system.
