To see the errors
one at a time, choose Check Page ??? Next Error or Check Page ??? Previous Error. You can verify your
change has eliminated the error by using any of the methods described in the following steps:
1. Open the Check Page ??? Browser Compatibility Check menu or choose File ??? Check Page ???
Browser Compatibility. Dreamweaver checks the page and lists the results in the Browser
Compatibility Check category of the Results panel, as shown in Figure 30-6. This is a handy
debugging tool; it lists a relevancy rating, the line number, the issue name, and a short description
for each item found.
The relevancy rating indicates how sure Dreamweaver is that the highlighted selection is affected
by the indicated issue. There are four relevancy rating symbols ranging from a quarter-filled
to a completely filled circle??”the more filled the circle, the more sure Dreamweaver is of its
assessment.
For more detailed information, click the View Solutions link to visit a related page in the CSS
Advisor section of Adobe.com. See the ???Visiting the CSS Advisor??? sidebar for more details about
this informative Web resource.
Double-clicking an item in the list selects the affected element. Dreamweaver displays the results
temporarily and deletes them when you check another page or close the program.
