This feature can be a life-saver, especially when you??™re
dealing with less accomplished Contribute users who may just be finding their way. The rollback feature even
enables you to see a preview of the page to make sure that you??™re bringing back the correct version.
Whether rollbacks are allowed??”and how many previous versions to make available??”is a significant
decision. Enabling this option means that all users can store previous versions of all
their edited pages and that all users can roll back any page they can access, whether they or someone else
made the edits. You also should make sure that adequate server space is available to store the number of files
maintained by the rollback option.
Before you can roll back a page in Dreamweaver, however, the ability to do so must be enabled through
Contribute administration, as described in the following steps:

1. From the Contribute category in the Site Definition dialog, select Administer Site.
Dreamweaver indicates that rollbacks are not enabled.
2. Enter the administrator??™s password in the provided dialog box.
3. When the Administer Website dialog box appears, select the Rollbacks category.
4. Click the check box so that the Enable Rollbacks option is selected.
