If you downloaded the extension, double-click the .mxp file to launch the Extension
Manager. In either case, the Adobe Exchange legal disclaimer is presented.
2. Click the Accept button to continue with the installation or click Decline to cancel it. After you
accept the disclaimer, the Extension Manager informs you whether the installation is successful or
alerts you to any errors it encounters, such as existing files with the same name.
If the installation succeeds, the extension is added to your list. The list displays the name of the installed
extension, its version number, the type, and the author. Selecting the extension gives you a description of
the extension, information about how to access the extension in the Dreamweaver interface, and usually a
bit of help on how to use it or how to find help.
If you have a great number of extensions, you can sort the list in the Extension Manager by
selecting the column heading. To change the display order from ascending to descending (to
show, for example, the highest version numbers first), click the heading under Windows; on Macintosh systems,
click the sort-order button on top of the scroll bar.
You can also install an extension from within Dreamweaver by following these steps:
1. Choose Help ??? Manage Extensions to open the Extension Manager.
