2. Choose File ??? Install Extension or use the keyboard shortcut, Ctrl+I (Command+O).
Alternatively, Windows users can also click the Install New Extension button. The Select
Extension to Install dialog box opens.
3. In the Select Extension dialog box, locate the desired .mxp file on your system and choose Install.
The legal disclaimer is presented.
4. Click the Accept button to continue with the installation or click Decline to cancel it.
5. After the installation is complete, choose File ??? Exit (Extension Manager ??? Quit Extension
Manager) to close the Extension Manager or click the Close button.
Some extensions require Dreamweaver to be relaunched before they take effect.
Even though the Extension Manager is an integral part of the Dreamweaver toolbox, many older extensions,
although perfectly usable, may not have been converted to the MXP format. To incorporate objects not in
the Extension Manager format into your Dreamweaver system, follow these steps:

Creating and Using Objects
1. Uncompress the files if necessary. Object files come with an HTML file and a GIF file, and the two
files are usually compressed for easy download or transfer.
2. If necessary, make a new folder for your objects and modify the insertbar.
